At the time, Han Solo, Chewbacca, and Princess Leia Organa are being chased across space by Darth Vader and his elite forces. That’s the same time that Luke Skywalker begins his Jedi training with Yoda after receiving instruction from Obi-Wan Kenobi’s spirit.

This three-hour radio production gives listeners an amazing treat with expanded story lines and new scenes. Anthony Daniels, the actor who plays C3P0, shared his voice for the production adding to the authenticity of the project. Though listeners have to imagine rather than see, they can still get a feel of the parts in the story that included Anakin with his mask and helmet off as well as Luke defeating the Rancor. Star Wars: Return of the Jedi is the last and final installment in the Original Radio Drama Series that Lucas donated to the radio station at his alma mater, the University of Southern California.

This audio book tells a timeless adventure of revenge and honor surrounding what occurs when Star Wars heroes Luke Skywalker and Han Solo is joined by Kyle Katarn. In Soldier for the Empire, Katarn has just graduated from the Imperial Military Academy only to learn his father has been murdered. On his way home, he meets a rebel agent who tells him the ugly truth about this father’s deaths swearing revenge. The trilogy also includes Rebel Agent and Jedi Knight. The audio books are written by John Whitman.

Young Jedi Knights Ulic Qel-Droma and Nomi Sunrider are drawn into battle in order to save the Old Republic. The problem is, the evil Sith’s power is spreading across the galaxy rampantly, threatening the existence of the Jedi themselves. Not to mention, one of their greatest allies have already been drawn to the dark side. It is written by John Whitman, but based on Tom Veitch’s and Kevin J. Anderson’s comic. Whitman is also the writer of the Star Wars Dark Forces Complete Set.

This New York Times bestseller begins right near the end of the war. The second Death Star has been destroyed. The Emperor was killed and Darth Vader struck down. Indeed there have been major victories for the Rebel Alliance, but the battle for freedom is far from over. Right now, the fledgling New Republic is hunting down the enemy’s scattered forces before they can regroup and retaliate. It is written by Chuck Wendig, who also wrote Blackbirds, Atlanta Burns, and Zeroes.
